The TurboCASH Community now spans 80 countries and 25 languages. We have thousands of consultants capable of supporting the 100 000 users. The 21st century brings with it a new flat world. Consultants are no longer restricted by geography. The best way to do this support is through remote connections. Currently consultants charge around (US)$ 50 per hour and 0.5c per Km.


Much can be saved by using remote access to fix and maintain a user's software. There are a number of options available for doing this remote access. There are open source products like TightVNC , DimDim and Ultra VNC as well as commercial products like Team viewer , Webex and Log Me In. Does anyone have suggestion as to what software we should use or try to standardise on?


By choosing a standard, and getting the TurboCASH community familiar with the standard we should be able to lift the level of ouur remote support.
