Theodore
Roosevelt wisely stated, ‘I did what I could, where I was, with what I had.’
In an extract from her book, "The Ladder of Success" Tanya Jovanovski tells us how to start a business. If
I have to think of one word that explains why people who have potential do not
succeed in business, that word would be ‘excuses’. People spend a lifetime
sacrificing their energy to excuses, investing in negative thought that serves
only to build up a mental block against ever succeeding.
The result is that they
are stuck in the mundane, the day-to-day rut of existence, rather than devoting
energy to action. This is why people remain unemployed year in and year out, why
they are stuck behind a counter, working 8am to
6pm for a
grumpy boss, or are paid peanuts.
