Every time an unregistered version of TurboCASH5.2 is started, the following confirmation message will be displayed:

This software is limited to 500 transactions or 500 documents. Please register and buy a licence for TurboCASH5.2
This copy of TurboCASH5.2 is not registered! Do you wish to register it now?

Unregistered versions will allow you to process up to 500 transactions and /or documents. Once this limit is reached, TurboCASH5.2 will not allow any processing of transactions, in batches and / or or documents. 

Once you have registered TurboCASH5.2, you will receive an unlocking code and will be able to process further transactions and or documents.  

DO NOT Install in PROGRAM (Program Files, Program Files (x86) or Program Data) folders. 

If TurboCASH5.2 is installed into the Programs directories (folders) (i.e. Program Files, Program Files (x86) or Program Data folders), it may not run properly. It may cause issues to launch TurboCASH5.2, connection and performance issues with Firebird and FlameRobin, etc. 

The Program directories is a protected directories of the Windows system.  

After installing TurboCASH5.2, the following optional additional components, is included in the “installs” folder of the TCASH5-2 root installation directory: 

  • Firebird Version 2.1 - Advanced users may wish to download and install a later version of the discontinued downloads - Firebird version 2.5.9. 

Later releases of Firebird Versions 3 and Versions 4 is currently not supported in TurboCASH5.2 databases (Sets of Books).
  • FlameRobin Version 0.9.3 - Advanced users may wish to download and install a later version of FlameRobin (version 0.9.6) FlameRobin Database Admin software to manage and explore your TurboCASH5 databases (Sets of Books). 

To Install TurboCASH5.2 Single-user:

  1. Once the TurboCASH5.2 installation file is downloaded, select the file and open it. The "Select Setup Language" screen is displayed: 
    install-select-country-language

The default installation language is set to English (United Kingdom). You may select your country and language to install TurboCASH5.2.  

Some languages may not display correctly; if your system locale in the Regional and Language Settings option in the Control Panel of your system does not support the language and system locale (uni-code).
  1. Select your country and language and click OK. The "Welcome to the TurboCASH5 Setup Wizard" screen is displayed:

  1. Click Next. The "License Agreement" screen will be displayed.
  2. Please read the agreement carefully. If you agree with the terms and conditions of the license agreement, select the “I accept the agreement” option and click Next. The "Select Destination Location" screen is displayed: 

The default path is TCASH5-2 on your system's default drive, (e.g. C:/TCASH5-2).

You may click on the Browse button to select any other folder than the default path where you wish to install TurboCASH5 on the Browse for Folder screen.

If you need to install TurboCASH5.2 on a device with a small default system drive (e.g. 32GB solid state drive), it is recommended to select a larger drive on your system.

  1. Once finished, click Next. The "Select Start Menu Folder" screen is displayed:  
  2. The default option is "TurboCASH5-2". You may select or specify a different folder. 
  3. Once finished, click Next. The "Select Additional Tasks" screen is displayed: 

  1. By default no options are selected. Select the "Create a desktop shortcut", if you wish to add the TurboCASH5 icon on your desktop, from where you may start or launch the TurboCASH5 program. 
  2. Once finished, click Next. The "Ready to Install" screen is displayed: 
  3. Please check the settings. 

This is your last chance to change anything to be installed. If you are not satisfied with your selection, click on the Back buttons to change the Installation directory, or the Start menu folder or select / deselect the necessary options.
  1. Click on the Install button. The TurboCASH5.2 installation process will start. 

Overwrite confirmation message:

A confirmation message will be displayed if you have installed TurboCASH5 over an existing (previous) TurboCASH5 installation. If you have worked (changed or added data) to the Set of Books (with the same Name as installed) and wish to retain the existing Set of Books, click No to retain your existing data. The Set of Books will not be replaced by the installation.   

If you click on the Yes button, the Set of Books will be replaced with the Set of Books in this installation. 
  1. Once the TurboCASH5.2 installation process is finished, the "Completing the TurboCASH5.2 Setup Wizard" screen is displayed: 

  1. Please select or deselect (remove the tick) to Launch TurboCASH5.2 - If this option is selected (ticked), the TurboCASH5.2 program will automatically be launched, when you click on the Finish button
  2. Once finished selecting or deselecting the necessary options, click on the Finish button. The TurboCASH5.2 program will be started if you did not remove (deselect) the tick on the "Launch TurboCASH5.2" option.
